All the Kings Men
As a companion series to the sermons on some women of the Old Testament, I preached a series of sermons from Colossians 4 where the apostle Paul writes about his fellow workers in the gospel. A consideration of these men and their relationship to Paul and the church is enlightening and encouraging for all of us who seek to invest our lives in the cause of the Christ. You can listen to these sermons here.

Holy Women Who Hoped in God
In his instructions regarding godly living, Peter spoke of the example of holy women of the past who put their hope in God (1 Peter 3:5). That thought prompted me to preach a sermon series during the month of May on a few women of the Old Testament whose lives should stir our hearts to put our hope in God as well. You can listen to each of those sermons on Hannah, Rahab, and Esther by clicking here.

Online Sermons
For any of you who have attempted to access my sermons at sermon.net/highlandave, you will have noticed that the sermons are not available. This is due to the changes being made to the website. I'm told that the sermons should be available again sometime this week. Thanks for your patience.

I Need a Hero
I've begun to preach a new series of sermons on the book of Judges with the title "I Need a Hero." Judges speaks about the period of time following the death of Joshua when the people of Israel were seeking to take possession of Canaan. It describes the continual spiritual decline in Israel and issues a timely warning for God's people regarding the dangers of forgetting the Lord and following the ways of the culture around us. The book of Judges leaves us yearning for a hero and leaves us with the clear assurance that the Lord alone can be that hero. You can listen to the sermons here.
